Sea life and underwater animals from Negril Jamaica

Posted by Negril Scuba on May 6, 2009

Here are a few pics of the underwater sealife we find here in Negril Jamaica. The local waters of Negril are rich in a wide number of sea creatures including crabs, lobsters and other crustaceans as well as other animals such as sea turtles, snake and jellyfish to name just a few.

You never really know what you’ll see while diving in Jamaica but you can rest assured that you will see something. These pics were taken on scuba dives in Negril by guests who enjoyed their dive vacations with Negril Scuba.

  1. Jon Caplin Said,

i have seen a tan colored snake with what appear to be black bands on them. I don’t think it is an eel. I have seen them several times off the beach. Unfortunately I cannot paste a photo of it. Can you let me know what it is please?
